# 11 Old Dominion vs. W&M Tribe
Old Dominion Scouting Report: Here’s what you have to know about Old Dominion: They are a third year program, they are 8-2 this season, and they hate, HATE William and Mary. Last year they were penalized five times for personal foul penalties and committed many more. But did you expect anything less out of Old Dirty?
The Cowardly Lion: This isn’t the first time that ODU has been scheduled to play at Zable Stadium. Two years ago, the Monarchs found themselves on the schedule as a William and Mary home game. You don’t remember that game? That’s because it never happened. ODU wimped out and refused to play the game because they were worried that they would get destroyed.
Hide Your Kids, Hide Your Wife: This year marks the inaugural Battle for the Silver Mace. The mace is a replica of the Norfolk Mace that was presented to the Norfolk Common Council on April 1, 1754. However, no matter who wins the trophy ODU will retain it, because, in Norfolk, you need all the mace you can find.
Moe’s Promotion: This weekend head on down to Moe’s at 4950 Monticello Avenue any time after the game this weekend. If you say the words “Tribal Fever” you can get an entrée for only five dollars.
Important Cheers:
G-O Cheer: G-O, G-O-T, G-O-T-R-I-B-E, Go (clap, clap), Tribe (clap, clap)
Birdgang: Biiiiiiiiiiiiiirdgang (after an interception)
Put in CJ: Put in CJ (clap, clap, clapclapclap) (This is because CJ Thomas should play more.)
I Believe: I, I believe, I believe that, I believe that we, I believe that we will, I believe that we will win! (repeat and jump)
Alma Mater:
Hark the students’ voices swelling, strong and true and clear! Alma Mater’s love their telling, ringing far and near! William and Mary, loved of old. Hark upon the gale. Hear the thunder of our chorus, Alma Mater hail!
Fever Rules: Keep it classy: Cursing is frowned upon. We can keep it clean, but give them hell. Bonus points if you include words that Old Dominion fans can’t spell. (That shouldn’t be too hard…)
