Strike out ALS 2013!
Hey Tribe Fans,
After Seven years of success, the William and Mary Circle K International Club (part of Kiwanis International) is hosting its 8th annual “Strike Out ALS!” baseball game in conjunction with the Tribe Varsity baseball team. The goal of their event is to raise money and awareness for Lou Gehrig’s Disease (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS). All proceeds from the event will go to the ALS Association of VA/DC/MD an organization committed to finding a cure, researching new treatments, and providing support for patients and families. They have raised over $10,000 the past seven years and hope to make this their most successful yet.
Did you know that students raise money just by showing up! Every fan who comes to the game will also increase the Tribe’s donation to helping fight ALS. Without spending a dime, you can support a great cause, win some awesome prizes, and see a Tribe baseball game! So bring your roommates, suitemates, hall mates, and friends out to cheer for our Tribe Baseball team as they take on High Point, tomorrow Saturday March 30 at 4 pm.
See everyone there!
